Welcome to the first official internet appearance of smock smock! After several months of hunting for fabric, haggling for zippers, designing and redesigning (and even some re-redesigning), innumerable hours of stitching and snipping, and one instance of getting my finger stuck in a sewing machine, I'm very pleased to announce that a new brand of clothing and accessories is ready to be introduced to the world. The smock smock line features items made using the traditional technique of smocking, an effect achieved by making dozens of very, very tiny gathers in the fabric to create ornamental patterns and shapes.
