New stuff and a new show

I have a couple of new Smock Smock developments to share! First off, I am very excited to officially (and rather belatedly) announce that Smock Smock will have a table at Ravenswing this year, taking place on May 26th at Minto Park in Ottawa. Check out their site for all the details, and hopefully see you there!

Secondly, I've just finished up a few new creations that I thought I'd provide a bit of a preview for.

Please excuse the exceedingly bad lighting and photography skills in general. Anyways, what we have here are some smocked purses! These are a very handy size for something that's easy to stow the essentials in and grab off the counter when you're on the run, while still retaining that level of handmade detail that only everyone's favourite type of needlework can bring! The strap can also be tucked inside to create a clutch for slightly classier occasions, or for tossing into a larger bag.

 

These are avilable in a couple of diffrent colours and smocking patterns, and will be available for purchase at Ravenswing.
